SONG OF THE WEEK

This week's "Song" of The Week is actually a full album! Nobigdyl. has been one of my favorite rappers in the Christian genre for quite a while now. I fell in love with his music all over again when I heard this live album. In fact, I actually got to attend Unplugged 2025, and let me tell you - there's no music like live music! This album transports you to the room where it happened, complete with funky beats, incredible lyrics, and a Savior who loves hip hop.

OF THE MONTH

The Road to Becoming.png

This month's pick is "The Road to Becoming" by Jenny Simmons. I had the honor of meeting Jenny through the class that inspired this blog; Jenny would often visit our classes, and both she and Professor James would guide us through conversations about how faith could have an incredible impact on the entertainment and media industry. This book was given to each student in our class as a parting gift from our professor and his wife. Whether you're 17, 37, or 77, this book has something to offer you. This book reminds me of "Hind's Feet on High Places" in the way that it challenges the viewer to take the hand of Suffering, close your eyes, and listen to the voice of God as He draws near.
